Today, according to a report by Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, Apple is developing two 20th anniversary iPhones, which will be released in 2027.

Among them, one is the long-awaited Apple folding iPhone, and the other is the glass-centric Pro version.

There is news that Apple has moved the production line of the iPhone to India, which could further increase the price of the 20th anniversary iPhone. Gurman said the 20th anniversary iPhone is complex in process and construction, requiring new parts and production techniques that are hard to find in China.

It should be noted that the report mentions that the cost of iPhones produced in India is 5%~10% higher than that of China.

Previously, the Financial Times reported that by the end of 2026, Apple will achieve that more than 60 million iPhones sold to the US market every year will be supplied by India.

However, Craig Moffett, partner and senior managing director at Moffett Nathanson, believes that moving the iPhone assembly business to India is an impossible task.
