April 16,2026

A family dispute over property in Obuasi has escalated following the intervention of media personality Auntie Naa and officers from the Ghana Police Service.

The team reportedly stormed an eight-bedroom house belonging to Edwin Gyimah on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, to address ongoing tensions between him and his family.

Speaking during a live broadcast of Oyerepa Afutuo, Auntie Naa confirmed their presence at the property, stating that the intervention was part of efforts to resolve the dispute.

Prior to arriving at the residence, the team reportedly stopped at a police station to seek support from officers, who accompanied them to the scene.

At the house, emotions ran high as Gyimah’s sister, Felicia Gyimah, was seen in tears upon the arrival of her brother alongside the media team and police personnel for a family meeting.

According to members of the media crew, the family pleaded with Gyimah to grant them a six-month extension before vacating the property. However, he is said to have insisted on reclaiming the house immediately.

The situation highlights growing tensions in family property disputes, with authorities and mediators stepping in to maintain order and seek resolution.
