Mustapha Gbande Advises NDC Members Against Seeking Jobs on Social Media
April 18, 2026
The Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mustapha Gbande, has cautioned party supporters against using social media platforms to seek employment opportunities.
In a message observed by vistanewsgh.com, Mr. Gbande stressed that political party membership alone does not guarantee access to jobs or financial success. He urged individuals to adopt more practical approaches in their pursuit of livelihoods rather than relying on public appeals online.
“Don’t ask for jobs on Facebook,” he stated, drawing a comparison with religious practices to illustrate his point. According to him, despite regular prayers and church attendance, not all individuals achieve the same level of economic well-being.
He explained that this reflects a broader reality that affiliation, whether political or religious, does not automatically translate into material gain. Instead, he encouraged party members to focus on personal effort and realistic opportunities.
His remarks come at a time when discussions around unemployment and expectations among party supporters continue to gain attention in Ghana’s political space.
